well-established brands include, among many others, Griesson and the iconic Prinzen Rolle.
Brand ICON DE BEUKELAER
The company, founded by Edouard DeBeukelaer in 1870, has 2100 employees and wants to make people all over the world happy with traditional specialities and brand new, innovative products. Hamburg based brand experts KloseDetering, longtime branding- and packaging collaborators for this brand, were suggesting to bring back the face of the company founder into the packaging context, but not by using an old photography.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH UK
The UK network of Neighbourhood Watch decided to re-vitalize the brand icon and corporate identity.
The old version of the iconic roundel illustration, containing a family of citizens and a bobby, has been labeled outdated, not well crafted and uncompetitive for further use. My challenge, in order to give the roundel icon a face lift, was to make it look fresher, more contemporary while remaining completely recognizable.

GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL
Various Studios and Ateliers are providing state of the art services, like some small scale mock ups for "The Grand Budapest Hotel" by director Wes Anderson.
The campaigns brand identity combines the Welsh motto "Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae"(...which translates as "Best Play is Team Play") with the aestetics of Russian propaganda style Posters.
FAW CAMPAIGN STRONGER TOGETHER
"Together stronger", the campaign launched by the Welsh Football Association, was branded by the London based Agency Designroom Sport. I created a range of football players portraits, as basic material for various layouts and designs in preparation ahead of the start of the team's World Cup qualifying camapign against Moldovia.
GUT HERMANNSBERG CREST
The history of this Bavarian wine estate dates back to the year 1902, when the Prussian state founded the domaine and purchased the first areas of land. In 1903, the first Riesling vines were planted. Gut Hermannsberg today owns a 30-hectare vine area with all land classified as ‘Great Site’, ranking among Riesling's best wine-growing areas in the world.
WINE ESTATE BRAND IDENTITY
Munich based brand & identity expert Isabel Steuler from studio Treedesign asked me to develop a coat of arms-like identity icon during her working process of the complex rebranding. As a reference to the estate's Prussian heritage, I created a crowned, wing spreading eagle, combined with a crest-like frontal facade depiction of the estate's old cellar building.
VOSSAFAR BRAND ICON
My main challenge was the allover reduction of details in the traditional folk-costume called "Vossabunad", as well as to adjust her body posture in a balanced way to match with the redesigned Vossafar typeface. Another must was to tone down the shapes and curves of her very dynamic hairdo.

"Vossafar" is a true traditional "nordisk" meat product and a brand with history, dating back to 1937. In order to modernize the previously used illustration (based on the folklore fairytale figure "Huldra") branding experts from GRID/Oslo asked me to provide a more playful, feminine and friendly version.
URSA BRAND ICON
Main focus while modernizing this iconic polar bear key visual was about to add impact & modernity whilst giving the bears a friendlier appearance.

URSA is a leading European insulation provider with headquarters in Madrid. Being one of the major insulation players in Europe, URSA is focused on mineral wool and extruded polystyrene (XPS) as solutions for insulating residential and non-residential buildings, both new and being renovated.
BiRMINGHAM MUSEUM TRUST
Birmingham Museums Trust is the largest trust of its kind in the UK and home to the largest civil collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings in the world as well as the Staffordshire Hoard. It has nine museums in the collection including Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery, Thinktank and the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter.
DUNHILL LIONS CREST
In order to enhance the overall „premium“ look and feel of tradition and tobacco expertise,I have been asked to provide the modernization of the old Dunhill Lion crest and to add some further tobacco related icon illustrations.
NEW FÜRST BISMARCK BRAND ICON
The Fürst Bismarck is a prominent German table water brand, which has been popular since generations.
Hamburg based brand specialists justblue called me to assist whith a
redrawing and modernization of the old Bismarck portrait. My design brief for the new depiction was mainly about to simplify, to soften the rather preussian militarian stance of the portrait, to make the the person Fürst Bismarck appear more human, friendly and approachable.

Barnsley Museums Trust icon
The Trust has been established as a fundraising body for Barnsley Museums. It will not have responsibility for operating the museums or managing staff. The main objective of the organisation is to raise money to support the wonderful venues, collections and the activities and programmes run by the service.
UAE T20 CRICKET BRAND ICON
My challenge was all about shaping the UAET20X letter elements in
a slightly elegant, arabic styled flow, in order to emphasize the dynamic, young and
joyful spirit of this event. Main goal was to add uniqueness and value to the brand,
in helping it to stand out.
LOFOTEN Seafood icon
Oslo based brand experts Strømme Throndsen Design were commissioned with the design makeover for the „80%Fiskeburger" packaging.
SAROTTI BRAND ICON COMPLETE
The Sarotti brand is full of history, dating back to the year 1852. Generations of kids grew up with this brand icon, which changed its appearance various times over the past decades.
CARR'S NEW CREST
Renowned for its quality and a firm favourite with Irish families, Carr’s expanded its range with a number of exciting products to satisfy different tastes any time of the day.
CARR'S BISCUITS new brand crest
The story of Carr’s first began as early as 1831 when Dodgson Carr set up a small bakery in the city of Carlisle. Carr’s Table Water in their original form first appeared in the late 19th Century as a refinement of the ship’s biscuits. Carr’s Table Water are still baked today using traditional brick ovens in the proud tradition.
